OK, I am the first to admit that keeping up with a blog is not one of my strengths! But this week when I saw Cara's Facebook posting celebrating her and Erik's 3rd anniversary, I knew I had to get busy already!
Meet Cara and Erik...
A little over 3 years ago I had the privilege to meet this fabulous couple. Often the planning meetings include only the bride and perhaps her mother or best friend. Rarely do I also get to meet the groom. I was so impressed by this pair - how loving they were and how well they worked together. They respected each other's opinions, worked as a team and were totally engaged in the process. I knew it was going to be a wonderful wedding!
The wedding took place at
Dresser Mansion in Tulsa, built in 1919 in the Italian Renaissance style. This venue is unique and always provides a beautiful back drop to stunning photography.
Cara and Erik chose beautiful, vibrant colors for the wedding. Her bouquet included orange dahlias, green hydrangea, hot pink gloriosa, twilight orange mokara orchid, and hot pink roses. Lime green and other bright, colorful accents could be found throughout their wedding.
I just loved the colorful pomanders made of carnations and
hung on sheer ribbons that adorned the arch!ard a few years...
Fast forward a few years...
Cara and Erik find out they're expecting...
Twins!
(Did I mention I have a soft spot for twins?)
Happy Anniversary, Cara and Erik!
I am so happy to have been a part of your wedding day. I enjoy seeing the pictures of your sweet babies grow up. Congratulations on your beautiful family and wishing you many more years of love and happiness together!
